Ingredients

  • 1 pound corned beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sauerkraut, drained
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Rye bread slices, toasted and cut into cubes (optional)
  • Butter, for greasing the baking dish

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter.
  2. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and black pepper to make the dressing.
  3. Layer sliced corned beef at the bottom of the baking dish, followed by sauerkraut.
  4. Spread half of the dressing over the sauerkraut and sprinkle half of the Swiss cheese on top.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining corned beef, sauerkraut, dressing, and Swiss cheese.
  6. Optional: Add toasted rye bread cubes over the final cheese layer.
