2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup whole milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (for garlic butter)
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
Pour in the milk and melted butter, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Gently fold in the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese into the dough until evenly distributed.
On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
In a separate bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and black pepper until well combined.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a log shape.
Cut the rolled dough into approximately 1-inch pieces and place them cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
Allow the roll-ups to cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving warm.
