Ingredients
Scale:
1 pound of salmon fillet, skin removed
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 large egg, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Chopped green onions for garnish
Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes, and pat them dry with a paper towel.
In a shallow dish, mix the flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Set up a breading station with seasoned flour, beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs.
Dredge each salmon piece in the flour mixture, shake off excess, dip in egg, then coat in panko breadcrumbs.
Place the breaded salmon bites on the prepared baking sheet, spaced apart.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Cook for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Remove the salmon bites from the oven and drizzle the honey garlic sauce over them, tossing gently to coat.
Transfer the salmon bites to a serving platter and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
