This homemade lemonade combines the sweet, juicy flavor of ripe peaches with the zesty tang of fresh lemons, creating a vibrant summer drink that’s perfect for picnics, outdoor parties, or simply enjoying on a hot afternoon.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
1 cup granulated sugar (adjust for sweetness preference)
4 cups water (divided into 3 cups and 1 cup)
2 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted
1/4 cup water (for peach puree)
Peach slices (for garnish)
Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Lemon slices (for garnish)
Instructions
Start by preparing the peach puree. In a blender, combine the peeled and pitted peaches with 1/4 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar with 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
In a large pitcher, combine the fresh-squeezed lemon juice with the cooled simple syrup. Stir well.
Add the remaining 3 cups of water to the pitcher. Stir until everything is mixed thoroughly.
Carefully fold in the peach puree into the lemonade mixture. Stir gently to combine.
Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
When ready to serve, pour the Delicious Peach Lemonade over ice in glasses. Garnish with slices of fresh peaches, mint leaves, and lemon slices.
