Instructions

  1. Season the beef chuck roast generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Allow the seasoning to sit for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Transfer the seared beef to a slow cooker. Pour in the beef broth and sprinkle the au jus seasoning mix over the top. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, remove the beef from the slow cooker and let it rest. Use two forks to shred the beef into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Strain the cooking liquid from the slow cooker into a saucepan. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste. Heat over medium.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Assemble the sliders by placing shredded beef and a slice of cheese on the bottom half of each bun.
  7. Place the assembled sliders in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley, and serve the sliders with the homemade au jus sauce for dipping.
